PS2G is seeking a full-time contract: Systems Integration Tester
Responsibilities
· Support for client methodology, process, and related procedures.
· Creation and maintenance of a Test Plan document and capturing this information in an approved tool such as ADMs
· Creation and maintenance of Test Cases for each user story or defect or issue or incident in an approved tool. Each test case is trackable and traceable in the context of a user story/defect/issue/incident.
· Capturing test results corresponding to each test case mentioned above.
· Regression Testing
· Provide test reports for established periodic project tracking meetings and on adhoc basis.
· Support Quality Assurance process and procedures to build a high-quality application.
· Test application compliance with client security requirements and identify gaps.
· Deliver Enterprise Lifecycle documentation as needed per the project schedule.
· Train client staff in test scripts, continuous integration or other work areas that contractor has performed, as needed.
· Developing and executing test cases to validate system integration
· Collaborating with development and project teams to understand the requirements and ensure that integration testing aligns with project goals
· Identifying and reporting bugs and defects found during integration testing
· Creating test data and test scenarios to simulate real-world conditions
· Participating in code reviews and contributing to the development of testing processes and procedures
· Documenting testing results, including bugs and defects, and ensuring that they are tracked and resolved in a timely manner
· Keeping up to date with new testing techniques and methodologies to ensure that integration testing processes are up-to-date and effective.
Qualifications Required
- 2-3+ years' experience in Test Process Management, Test Design, & Test Planning
- 2-3+ years' experience in Test Execution, functional testing, API Testing, UI Testing, SoapUI
- Expertise in one or more leading functional testing tools such as UFT, ALM, and IBM Rational
- Proven knowledge of the SDLC methodology, process, and related procedures
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent working experience
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
- Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
