REMOTE WORK: Blue Cross has transitioned to a hybrid workplace where employees within driving distance of our Berlin, VT office work Wednesdays in the office with flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week. The Talent Acquisition Specialist can expect to work two days per week in the office as a member of HR.
Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of the Plan’s recruitment and employment program.
- Working closely with the Talent & Compensation Manager, team with colleagues and leaders across the company to source, recruit, interview and hire qualified candidates for vacant positions at Blue Cross.
- Work to ensure best practices in recruitment and employment activities, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to employment.
- Interpret HR policies and procedures for employees and managers.
- Participate in projects and teams within HR and serve on teams throughout the company regarding a broad range of HR and other topics as directed by the Talent & Compensation Manager and Director of HR.
Talent Acquisition Specialist Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business, Finance, Human Resources or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 2+ years of full cycle recruiting and hiring experience required.
- 3 – 5 years of progressively responsible experience in human resources preferred.
- Project management experience preferred.
