The Talent Acquisition Specialist at SentriLock will understand the talent, attitude, and skill needs of the business and will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent.

Support the recruitment process through administrative tasks to create a consistent high quality internal and external recruitment experience

  • Consult with hiring managers and human resources team for requisition creation and compensation
  • Lead recruitment kick off meetings with hiring manager and other key stakeholders to understand and document what success looks like in the role and department
  • Collaborate with managers to review and/or develop job descriptions that accurately detail job details and qualifications
  • Job shadow for each open role to develop day in the life talking points to present during the recruitment process
  • Understand the TTI assessment and guide benchmark sessions
  • Research and recommend interview assignments such as skill assessments, and when needed, administer the collection, review and recommendation of completed assessments
  • Prepare interview guides including Recruiter phone screen guides and first and final interview guides to ensure we are leading fair and consistent interviews and assessing candidates to the skills needed to be successful in the open role
  • Lead recruitment debrief meetings to evaluate and assess candidates guiding hiring manager and key stakeholders to a decision on the best fit for the open role
  • Prepare and extend offer letters to celebrate this SentriLock moment and secure the new team member onboarding
  • Communicate with all key stakeholders including HR team, payroll, hiring manager, and IT, the onboarding details for the new team member
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and company policies
  • Maintain applicant tracking system, and track and continuously improve on recruitment metrics such as time to fill and quality of hire
  • Research and recommend recruitment best practices including techniques, technologies, and sourcing outlets

Market, promote and source high quality candidate for open positions

  • Develop job postings to attract the ideal candidate to the opening
  • Conduct phone screens with applicants to present the company, employee-first culture, and position, assess candidates skills, and prepare the candidate for the selection process
  • Advance candidates forward in the selection process by either scheduling next step interviews or disqualifying candidates for the appropriate reason
  • Market position with job boards and with relevant community outlets such as colleges, professional associations, social media groups etc.
  • Communicate with managers and employees regularly to promote employee referral program and internal opportunities
  • Attend in person and virtual career fairs presenting SentriLock, our job opportunities, and the employee-first culture
Requirements:

Educational Requirements/Preferences

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communication or Business Admin. or equivalent experience - Required

Experience Requirements/Preferences

3+ years Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter or similar - Required

1+ year Technical Recruitment - Required

Other Requirements/Preferences

SHRM's Talent Acquisition Specialty credential - Preferred

Proficiency in applicant tracking systems

Strong understanding of staffing principles, laws, and procedures

Solid working knowledge of recruitment/employment programs
