As a Tanning Consultant, you will be responsible for the salon in the following ways:
- Instruct each client individually or in a group setting regarding the salon equipment and the benefits and/or difference in equipment.
- Utilize written and oral communication skills to relay instructions to clients, as well as to provide coworkers and management with information, which relates to salon operations.
- Greet clients in a friendly manner both in person and over the telephone.
- Effectively communicate the positive effects of indoor tanning.
- Effectively describe and sell all offerings as well as the benefits of using lotions and other products as they relate to the tanning process as well as skin care.
- Attain minimum bi-weekly sales goals consistently.
- Maintain the highest standard of salon cleanliness through routine cleaning schedules and personally identified needs.
- Arrive on time and be prepared to serve customers for your stated shift hours.
- Complete all required duties and checklists during your shift.
- Assist owner/management in marketing concepts and promotional ideas.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Attend all assigned meetings.
- Communicate issues (with proposed solutions) to the Owner/Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position offers hourly pay plus commission.
