Taquero must have experience working in taqueria or cooking Mexican food and will be trained on how to prepare our menu items. Must also have excellent customer service skills.

Job Duties: Keep accurate control of any large orders placed by Customers (regular, holiday or special events). Promote and practice safety and follow all procedures to avoid injuries. Greet and assist all customers in a friendly manner. Maintain assigned work area clean at all times (sweep, mop, clear of dirt, etc.) Maintain a workstation that is organized and stocked. Assist Cook in preparing food. And all other assigned job duties.

Skills Required

Must obey all State and Federal guidelines regarding health and safety policies

Wear clean complete uniform at all times

Wear safety glove when using knives

Wash hands frequently (at least every 20 minutes) with hot water and anti-microbial soap from elbows down for no less than 20 seconds

Lift boxes and product ranging between 20 lbs up to 60 lbs

Place boxes/product onto dolly or cart

Push/pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs (items on cart/dolly)

Bend/Stoop pick up and or place product below waist level (including shelves and racks)

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory of products in order to meet Customer Service
• Keep accurate control of any large orders placed by Customers (regular, holiday or special events)
• Complete Employee schedules to ensure all shifts are covered in order to provide excellent customer service
• Greet and assist all customers in a friendly manner
• Maintain assigned work area clean at all times (sweep, mop, clear of dirt, etc.)
• Maintain a workstation that is organized and stocked
• Assist Cook in preparing food
• And all other assigned job duties

• Place boxes/product onto dolly or cart
• Push/pull between 30 lbs up to 200 lbs (items on cart/dolly)
• Bend/Stoop pick up and or place product below waist level (including shelves and racks)
• Place product onto bins and position for sale
• Grasp/Grip product to prepare for sales by either cutting or cleaning product
• Constant sweeping/pushing broom to pick up debris to keep work area clean
• Reaching above shoulder level (cookware placement on shelving/racks in kitchen area)
• Place debris/trash/recycle cardboard in respective areas
• Will clean and maintain kitchen tables and bins
• Wash dishes and pots
• Work in varying temperatures (Refrigerators, freezers, stoves, etc.) throughout scheduled shift
• Climb ladders to retrieve product on top shelf/cooler

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
