Position Overview

The Tax Accountant will be an experienced CPA or EA with write-up experience, prior client relationship experience and excellent computer/technical experience. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for working with clients to provide monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services.

Desired Skills/ Experience/Attributes

  • Senior tax and accounting professional with 5+ years of experience working for a public accounting or professional services firm and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience preparing individual and business tax returns
  • Must have successfully managed client accounts and directed staff work
  • Comfortable with computers and general technology.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel) is highly desired, and QuickBooks experience is necessary.
  • CCH Axcess experience preferred

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field preferred
  • Active PTIN required
  • Active professional license/certification (CPA or EA) required
