Plucked Chicken & Beer was conceptualized because cousins Barrett Gomes and Brenden Scanlan, masterminds behind Sauced BBQ & Spirits, decided they needed a little more fried chicken in their lives. They also needed beer. They were probably drinking whiskey when they decided they needed beer. And then they decided they needed fried chicken. It was a natural progression. Once you taste it, you'll get it.

This job is what Plucked Chicken & Beer is all about: serving guests the freshest, highest quality foods and providing them with a fantastic experience in a clean, safe, highly-rated environment. It is our goal to create an extraordinary experience that delights our guests again and again. At Plucked Chicken & Beer, our work environment is fast-paced, fun, and team-oriented.

As a Team Member, some of your responsibilities could include:

• Taking care of our guests by providing unparalleled, genuinely friendly service. Team members provide legendary guest service by smiling, providing a warm greeting, delivering food to tables, asking guests about their meal, clearing trays, bussing tables, thanking guests for their visit, anticipating their needs, satisfy guest requests, and problem solve when necessary,
• Receiving and entering guest's orders with a smile and processing payments using the register terminal at the counter. Taking phone orders as necessary.
• Organizing, packaging and handing out all food and drink orders. This team member also serves as a final quality control check and only hands out product that meets Plucked Chicken & Beer standards. Checking ID for all beer purchases from guests under the age of 40. Responsible for maintaining and cleaning dining room equipment, including soda machine and beer taps.
• Preparing our fresh ingredients, including slicing jalapenos and other fresh produce, preparing sauces, cutting and breading chicken, etc.
• Working in a team-oriented environment. Team members look for ways to help fellow co-workers, anticipate their needs, let others know they are always happy to help. They are comfortable asking for help as well.
• Creating a clean, spotless and food-safe environment by cleaning their individual workstation, store, and surrounding area, which includes daily cleaning duties before and after each shift and ongoing cleaning responsibilities during business hours.
• Show pride in your work by serving the best quality chicken sandwiches, tacos, tenders, wings, waffle fries, etc. Team members are responsible for preparing and cooking food.
• Show pride in your work by arriving on time for your shifts, dressed appropriately and give adequate notice for time-off as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in guest service is preferred, but not required
• Prior cooking experience is preferred, but not required
• Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive
• Exhibit a strong work ethic
• Must be able to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills.
• Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed.
• Continuous use of hands and arms.
• Continuous bending, reaching and twisting.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Must be 18 years or older

Pay: $17 - $19 / hour
