For this position, we expect min. 5 years of work experience in a technical account management position or similar roles.
- BA in computer science or relevant technical degree is required
- SME status in one or more services (AWS, APIs, Integration testing) and understanding of the architecture and operational parameters of 3P applications, enough to effectively handle escalations
- Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for the following: Security / Applications Development in a distributed systems environment
- Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience as a technical lead
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads among evolving priorities, maintain a strong attention to detail and work independently
- Data driven and demonstrates good working knowledge of metrics, KPIs and SLAs and put them to practice in delivering results.

We are looking for a senior technical account manager with a strong sense of ownership, passion to provide a great customer experience, and excellent troubleshooting skills in ambiguous situations. Provide tactical and technical support to review customer cases related to integration with Amazon systems and enterprises. You will provide the strategy to review business applications and cloud services for compliance with our policies and investigate application integration problems with APIs, enterprise customers and Amazon services. You will dive deeply into technical details, diagnose, and reproduce issues with Amazon technology products (e.g., services, tools, data solutions, etc.). You will typically focus on guiding customers on how to properly use an API/Amazon service, educating them on best practices, and troubleshooting implementation and configuration problems. As a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM), you may identify opportunities and known risks with a customer’s technical decisions. In addition, you will be the SPOC, representing Partner Operations within the senior leadership organization. Finally, you will coordinate the activities of a team of TAMs and security engineers in support of the responsibilities outlined above.

- Actively manage integration projects with a portfolio of Third-Party applications and service providers integrators that need to be integrated into the Amazon Buy with Prime merchant offerings
- Work with 3P partners to set and meet milestones to deliver high-quality integration projects every time
- Manage a team of TAMs directly reporting to you in different areas such as, certification, escalation handling and career development goals
- Engage internal and external customers/teams to define requirements, test data integrity, verify business processes, and deploy product offerings
- Partner to provide technical support to the development, PM and SA teams on documentation, certification best practices, security risks, troubleshooting and testing
- Closely work with partners and internal security teams to design, propose and execute on industry level best practices related to security & risk for SaaS apps and 3P integrations
- Manage the operational relationships with stakeholders of small to enterprise level businesses and ensure their products are setup for success
- Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices, and proactively help protect your partners security and app solutions architecture.

- Track record of managing and troubleshooting technical projects

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $73,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
