Your Role and Responsibilities
Technical Team Leader, Kyndryl Inc., New York, NY, and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Act as lead of technical support to up/downstream partners related to project connection methods on DB2, SFTP, encrypted connections and GDPR. Support project environment and create impact analysis related to system/tools upgrades, coordinate implementation, validation tests on development, and test environments prior to production installation. Perform operational tasks, responsible for the application and functional IDs management, issues and incident support, batch execution, keep track of business SLAs, perform log analysis on DB2, DataStage, Tivoli, Linux, Cognos, MQ, WebSphere. Manage creation, execution, and support for new Cloud jobs and tasks on Kubernetes, Spark, COS, DashDB and Elastic Search. Support ESA project migration to Cloud environment, working closely to project managers, developers, analysts, and operations on Design Thinking sessions to support new functionalities, providing detailed information about the legacy project. Manage jobs, tools, and processes, identifying and fixing issues, suggesting improvements, dependencies, job flow, automation procedures for monitoring and validation tasks. Migration to Microsoft Azure suite of tools from current IBM technologies. Utilize DataStage, DB2, Tivoli, AIX, Linux, Shell Script, DevOps. Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as an Infrastructure Specialist, Technical Team Leader or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing DataStage, DB2, Tivoli, AIX, Linux, Shell Script, DevOps. $138,590.00 per year. Full time.Being You @ Kyndryl
