We're seeking a Technician (Mechanic) Apprentice who loves a challenge and wants the opportunity to grow with a fast-paced company. This apprenticeship will cover all aspects of a rental yard. There will be a rotation to familiarize and give you appreciation for each role and task.

Primary Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and repairs on heavy construction equipment
• Works efficiently to do a good job in a minimum amount of time
• Completes all paperwork and reporting; insures all paperwork is submitted within the allowed timeframes, and with complete information
• Inspects equipment and reports to Manager and /or Customer when additional repairs are required, preventing possible customer dissatisfaction and increasing Service Department revenue opportunities
• Assist team members or Managers as needed
• Observes the company's safety standards in accordance with OSHA and state regulations.
• Develops and maintains relationships with current customers.
• Be proactive and assist in the process to solve any customer problem or situation.
• All other duties related to the position and other requested by supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications

• YOU MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN A DIESEL MECHANICS OR OTHER HEAVY EQUIPMENT MACHINERY POST-SECONDARY PROGRAM TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION.
• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• Work with the service team to manage work orders and make sure work is completed in a timely fashion.
• Be able to communicate with customers about issues and timelines regarding equipment.
