Technician, Pharmacy - Pharmacy - Mullica Hill Job at Inspira Health Network
Performs the manual technical tasks involved with the proper storage, distribution, packaging and labeling of drugs, associated record keeping and patient charging systems. Works under the direct supervision and control of a Registered Pharmacist. Follows proper procedures for the operation of equipment and use of supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Hospital Pharmacy technician experience preferred.
- Prior experience with chemotherapy required.
Certification/Licensure:
- Valid NJ Driver's license required.
- Registered New Jersey Pharmacy Technician required, within 6 months of employment in this position.
- Completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program or a passing score on the Certified Pharmacy Technician Examination offered by the Academy of Pharmacy Technicians or the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists preferred.
