Pediatric & Family Behavioral Health of Georgia provides psychiatric medication management to children, adolescents, and adults, ages 6 and up, who have been diagnosed with or have symptoms of depression, anxiety, panic attacks, ADHD, bipolar disorder, OCD, insomnia, DMDD, Tourette’s, ODD, and other mood disturbances. We are currently seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Master of Social Work (MSW) to become a part of our team! At Pediatric & Family Behavioral Health of Georgia, we strive to deliver superior psychiatric care with a compassionate heart!

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychotherapeutic services to patients via telehealth - REQUIRED
• Educate patients, family members, and/or caregivers about mental health disorders - REQUIRED
• Develop and educate patients, family members, and/or caregivers on individualized psychotherapeutic modalities - REQUIRED
• Document each patient’s condition/progress through ethical, accurate, detailed records - REQUIRED
• Collaborate and communicate with team members, parents/guardians, caregivers, and other entities as appropriate (e.g., schools, medication management providers, other mental health professionals, etc.) - REQUIRED
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities, as warranted - REQUIRED
• Comply with all federal, state, and local licensing and therapeutic guidelines and regulations - REQUIRED

Qualifications:

• Active/Valid professional counseling license (MSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC) in the state of Georgia - REQUIRED
• Ability to practice without supervision - REQUIRED
• 2+ years of experience caring for psychiatric patients, of all ages (i.e., children, adolescents, and adults), in an outpatient setting - REQUIRED
• Active/Up-to-date CAQH profile - REQUIRED
• Excellent oral and written communications skills - REQUIRED
• Advanced computer skills/knowledge - REQUIRED
• Ability to build rapport with patients - REQUIRED
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - REQUIRED
• Strong leadership qualities - REQUIRED
• Ability to work well autonomously - REQUIRED
• Engagement in continuing education - REQUIRED
• Experience treating a variety of mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder - REQUIRED
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults - REQUIRED
• Experience communicating with computers and other electronic means (e.g., EHR, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.) - REQUIRED
• Experience with Kareo EHR software - PREFERRED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
