Job Title:
Maintenance/ Tool & Die Machinist

Position Reports To: Maintenance Manager
Summary Description:
Operate manual lathes and mills, CNC machine and other shop equipment in a safe and accurate manner in support of Operations, Maintenance and Engineering.
Essential Functions:
- Safely and correctly operate manual machines, to include lathe and mill.
- Operate CNC lathe & mill machine
- Read and understand blueprints and technical documents
- Accurately use measurement tools; Calipers and Micrometers
- Follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy
- Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned
Skills or Experience Required:
High school degree or GED is required; must be able to operate manual lathes and mills. Ability to also operate CNC Lathes and Mills preferred.
Other Position Demands or Requirements:
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.
Working Conditions/Physical Conditions:
Exposed to heat, dust, fumes and noise of foundry floor. Must be able to bend, reach, lift and move up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Basic PPE
- Steel toed safety shoes with metarsal guard
- Eye protection
- Hearing protection
