Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
- Training and educating medical assistants on being a proficient EMA user.
- Assist with 30, 60, and 90-day performance review and success of training results. Sign each new employee off.
- MIPS training for all back-office staff.
- Efficient with training the staff on tasking in EMA.
- Portal training.
- E-Rx.
- Setting up rooms each morning.
- Preparing room and training on biopsy procedures.
- Accutane training.
- Documentation and completing Path Logs
- Sending in Lab requests
- Proper set up and closing of lab.
- Proper cleaning of instrument.
- CLIA. Knowledge of the Portal.
- Proper cleaning of rooms.
- Training NextGen scheduling.
- Work on Protocols and training materials.
- Orientation class for our new MA’s.
- Chart audits to assure proper documentation is completed and meets all billing protocols.
- Charts audits.
- Travel AZ and Texas for medical assistant training.
Qualifications
Education: Certification preferred (i.e., Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Dermatology Technician, etc.)
Experience: Minimum three years ‘experience in Dermatology, Cosmetics, Minor Procedures. Minimum of 1-2 years in a training role.

- Professional in appearance and mannerisms.
- Able to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others, patients and co-workers alike.
- Able to prioritize tasks, understand the provider’s instructions, and know when to seek information or advice.
- Works with Training Manager to put together Protocols, Training Materials, Classes, Meetings for our staff.
