The Position: We are looking for a full time Clinician in Upland, CA!
Job Summary
Works within the agency and program's vision, mission and philosophy, and policies. Under the supervision of the Licensed Program Manager, *provides comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, and coordination of therapeutic activities with neurodivergent youth and families (e.g., autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities) with co-occurring mental health challenges and complex trauma in the community. Delivers high-quality, trauma-informed clinical services in complex family systems. Integrates neurodiverse-affirming practices to an established clinical program.*
Requirements:
- Master’s degree Psychology, Education/Special Education, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field required.
- 1-year clinical experience implementing therapeutic interventions with youth and/or families
- Eligible for BBS registration
Preferred:
- Knowledge of local rules and regulations from Regional Center and the Department of Developmental Services (DDS)
- Knowledge of education law, including Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Individualized Educational Program (IEP), Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE), Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Responsibilities:
- With limited supervision, provides comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, and coordination of therapeutic activities with neurodivergent youth and families (e.g., autism, intellectual/developmental disabilities) with co-occurring mental health challenges and complex trauma in the community.
- Ensures that documentation and maintenance of clinical records is completed per appropriate standards and regulations.
- Provides facilitation and support to enhance the efforts of neurodivergent youth and their families/caregivers in the design and implementation of developmental and behavioral treatments.
