This assignment offers a remote schedule.

This role addresses the implementation, support, and maintenance of relevant Epic modules in collaboration with the other peers. As an EPIC Manager you will lead the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of Epic applications. Additionally you will be responsible for managing the day to day operations such as troubleshooting & resolving any incidents or problems that may arise within the EHR system. You’ll use your project management skills to effectively track milestones, dependencies, as well as communication skills to present status updates to hospital leadership, lead meetings, motivate team members, track budget, escalate issues and risks, and continually assess upcoming phases and work to be assigned.

Duties may include but not limited:

• Provide planning, analysis, leadership, and oversight of Epic implementation for enterprise projects
• Responsible for coordination and status reporting of Epic project-oriented work, coordinating, assigning work across multiple work streams, and communication to appropriate stakeholders
• Drive decisions to Epic’s best practices and improve decision-making on Epic projects
• Identify and track project metrics leveraged in the decision-making processes
• Coordinate, facilitate, and monitor project milestones and budgets for assigned projects, including establishing and leading cross-functional teams
• Provide feedback to the project team on performance and make recommendations for improvement.
• Conduct performance reviews, validate time sheets, and participate in interviews.

What We Require:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Business or equivalent work experience required.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years of IT experience and a minimum of 2 years of management experience including direct supervision of staff level resources.

Licensure,certification, and/or registration: Valid Virginia drivers' license and dependable transportation. ITIL Foundation Certification.

Other: Must be analytical, dependable, and detail oriented. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and have a command of the English language (both written and oral). Must demonstrate solid leadership and presentation skills. Must be self-initiated, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be customer service oriented.
