Job Title: Van And CDL Truck Driver

Location: Youngsville, LA

Schedule: 5 & 2

Quality Companies is currently accepting applications and résumé for full time Van and Truck Driver with a Class A CDL License to work locally at our Youngsville, LA Office. Main duties will be driving equipment to and from out Youngsville, LA office, to various docks across the Gulf Coast from Galveston to Venice.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate vehicles for the delivery, pickup, and movement of Products, and Materials.
• Work various hours, including both day and night time driving runs.
• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
• Inspect vehicle regularly to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is present and in good working order, report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
• Load or unload materials from vehicle manually or with lifting devices.
• Inspect and secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chain, binders, or covers.
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
• Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status
• Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles

Required Qualifications:

• Must have 2+ years of experience as a Class A CDL Driver
• HazMat certification is a plus.
