Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer, North America
The Vice President, CHRO North America is a key part of the Leadership team for Orora Packaging Solutions. In partnership with the other members of the Executive, this role provides strategic leadership, partnering, coaching and support of our leaders and the development and implementation of our aligned People Strategy across Orora Packaging Solutions. The business areas supported include Integrated Supply Chain including Manufacturing, Distribution Operations, Sales, Legal, Quality, Business Development/Strategy, Orora Visual, and Finance/IT.
S/he/they will be responsible for formulating, leading, and aligning key People strategies to ensure policies, programs, and services are aligned with business outcomes. This leader will have key involvement in M&A activities. S/he/they will act as a trusted advisor, maximize senior team effectiveness, and partner with Senior Leaders holding them accountable for culture. S/he/they will also serve as a member of various stakeholders and steering committee groups, both globally and locally, to encourage cross functional collaboration and act as an enterprise change leader as business needs evolve. In addition, this role has key Board visibility.
S/he/they will have a strong focus on providing a comprehensive, strategic, and programmatic leadership and vision that advances and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion across Orora Packaging Solutions.
S/he/they will be a partner who thinks beyond Human Resources – a real business partner who brings outside perspective on the latest trends to understand and help run the business.

· Location: Hybrid (HQ office- Buena Park, CA.)
· Travel Requirement: up to 25% and/or as needed
Key Responsibilites
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of internal business operations and industry best practices and ensures integration into the development of HR strategies
- Develops the framework for competitive landscape assessment, and ensures this information is integrated into the planning process and key deliverables; diagnoses trends and root causes impacting organizational performance at the local and global levels; and drives the development and execution of quality solutions
- Participates as an active member of OPS Executive Team in setting and achieving strategic goals of the company; helps design development opportunities for Executive Team members and staffs for their individual and team development
- Participates in the formulation and setting of Human Resources strategies and tactics for the company; Ensures strategic imperatives are transformed into actionable business plans and tactics
- Oversees organization development issues by working with management on departmental reorganization and position restructuring, and with the Executive Team leaders on functional structures
- Leads HR including Business Partners and Centers of Excellence providing oversight to the execution of Total Reward, Development and DEI programs and strategic actions across the organization including connections with functions that can influence meaningful Business Outcomes (e.g., Diversity Suppliers, Talent Acquisition, Communications, etc.)
- Articulates implications of HR policies, laws and regulations related to business-units or organizational-wide decisions, policies and processes; conducts a continuing study of all local human resource policies, programs and practices to ensure that they are up to date and foster an inclusive workplace.
- Working closely with the General Counsel and SVP, Integrated Supply Chain, ensures good union relations and good co-worker relations in non-union sites.
Key Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Functional Experience
- 20 years progressive experience in Human Resources, operating in a global organization
- Broad exposure to various HR functions having supported a variety of business functions with diverse
workforce populations
- Operated within a global organization with a significant North America business
- Operated within a matrix organizational structure, across hierarchies and between divisions and functions
Industry Experience
- Sales / Omni- Channel / Global Distribution Channels
- Complex multi-sites

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $240,000.00 - $320,000.00 per year
