Position Description: Vice President of Finance must be well-versed in implementation of an ERP system in a manufacturing environment. This role reports the CEO and has responsibilities ranging from simple accounting to overseeing and delivering against the forecasted annual budgeting for the company. The ideal candidate can work in an autonomous environment as the senior executive on the premises and has excellent communication skills. We are looking for a leader as all relative departments of the organization will be under their financial command and this person must be able to collaborate with the entire team.

Essential Functions: Key job responsibilities for which the position is held accountable, other duties may also be assigned:

• Drive the company’s financial planning and financial reporting
• Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
• Financial Planning - Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
• Control, evaluate and recommend optimum fundraising plans and capital structure
• Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets etc.)
• Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
• Innovation - Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system
• Budget Management - Manage and help control all financial aspects of the organization.
• Performing risk management analysis of the organization’s liabilities and investments
• Business Administration - Manage vendor relationships

Management Qualifications & Tools Required for Success:

• Proven experience as Vice President of Finance or relevant role
• Experience working with Counsel on corporate and employee related law affairs.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., NAV Dynamics or other ERP software platforms.)
• Ability to strategize and solve problems
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
• Certified Public Accountant CPA is a strong advantage
• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc or MBA is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Employee must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. onto waist-high shelves.
• Employee must have the ability to carry/lift to 10-55 lbs.
• Frequent bending at waist/knees
• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers.
• Exposure to a multi-temp, QC-regulated, food production environment.
