Vice President of Operations, Quick Turns Job at Valet Living

Reporting to the President of Quick Turns, the Vice President of Operations will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee Quick Turns activities in the organization, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations, cost effective systems to meet current and future needs of the organization, and delivering on the value proposition to our clients. Their duties include consulting with senior leadership to determine business goals or initiatives, visiting with General Managers to relay information about company needs, and reviewing operational data to make inferences about the organization’s success.
Salary range: $180,000 - $200,000
Bonus: 25% of annual salary at target bonus
Essential job duties include:
- Influence, implement and communicate the strategic direction of the Quick Turns organization.
- Partner with the President in defining change management initiatives and act as the change leader who is responsible for the successful adoption of key initiatives.
- Create a culture of operational excellence, both within the market teams and throughout the company, bringing rigor, focus, hustle, and a continuous iterative improvement mindset to every aspect of Valet Living’s Quick Turns service offering.
- Develop short-and long-term regional plans that drive maximum sales revenue and align with organizational goals
- Hire and develop service-minded, exceptional associates, unleashing their potential to succeed.
- Manage budget and resource planning to ensure the company is prepared to meet new operational challenges and capable of rapidly responding to new opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing to determine proper sales and retention channels
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience. Ensure long-term client retention & satisfaction through the delivery of a consistently positive client experience and partnership at all levels of interaction.
- Establish, communicate, and implement organizational-related policies, practices, standards, and safety measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
- Develop clear performance metrics and create systems to continuously track and improve against them.
- Foster a culture of safety, consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support the company’s diligence process through identifying risks and opportunities and driving successful integration of acquisitions.
- Maintain an understanding of the market, competitive properties within the region, and all other pertinent market forces.
- Manage vendor relationships, including vendor performance, service agreements, and negotiations.
- Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to improve operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with multi-site operations and sales.
- Previous experience managing a geographically dispersed team required.
- Previous sales or customer experience leadership a plus.
- Previous experience in a leading an organization with a large part time workforce preferred.
- Previous private equity experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, MBA a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced, high pressure, growth environment.
- Proven experience taking business initiatives from conception to launch.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability synthesize complex situations into clear, convincing point of view with recommendations.
- Ability to be creative, strategic, analytical, and think outside the box to solve problems.
- Strong project management and time management skills.
- Ability to identify areas for improvement and proactively drive change.
- Strong aptitude to learn new things, positive attitude, high energy, ability to work with different departments.
- Valid driver license and good driving record.
