Title: Vice-President of Sales
Salary Range: $150,000 - $190,000/yr
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- This role will be responsible for leading sales and the customer experience team
- Manage, mentor, and lead all direct reports
- Hybrid Role
- Some Travel required
- Collaborate with stakeholders on organizational change and strategy as required.
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans
- Pursue new sales opportunities, gather inbound leads, and follow-up calls/meetings
- Establish sales territories and manage sales distribution
- Recruit, interview, train, and on-board new sales representatives
- Research customer needs and requirements; implement new ideas/strategies to generate interest in sales
- Identifying where improvements can be made and developing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals
- Interact with sales representatives, team leaders/managers, and executives to evaluate sales strategy and results
- Develop and implement strategies to bring in new business
- Analyze sales data and recommend changes or improvements for better customer satisfaction and future revenue
- Manage CRM, special projects (storage, consolidations, etc.)
- Responsible for ocean freight tariffs on how they work and how they affect company margins.
- Manage P&L review and department profitability.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:
- Embrace AFF culture and lead with a positive mindset
- Experience in sales, management, customer service, finance, administration, or related field
- Can demonstrate proven sales results
- Demonstrates detailed knowledge of the company’s products and services
- Demonstrates solid motivational behaviors and elevated leadership skills
- Demonstrates great strategic planning, organizational and creative thinking skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into numbers and solutions
- Experienced at preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects; experienced at compiling and following strict budgets
- Operates with a high sense of urgency
