What you will do:

· Responsible for recruiting, managing, and coordinating various individual volunteers and special groups supporting Comfort Life Hospice’s mission, vision and values.

· Responsible for actively engaging corporate volunteer programs and acting as spokesperson in community engagement.

· Promoting, recruiting, screening, and training new volunteers for the agency

· Collecting volunteer information, availability, and skills, and maintaining an up-to-date database.

· The incumbent in this position provides leadership and direction to volunteers.

Must haves:

· High School Diploma or GED required.

• Two years paid or unpaid experience in a volunteer program.
• One-year supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a valid California Driver License, proof of automobile insurance, and meet the Agency’s safe driver guidelines.

Would be great:

• Superior computer skills, specifically utilizing Microsoft Office programs, and other programs and social media tools, such as Constant Contact, Facebook, and Twitter, also preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
