Join our Fundraising and Development team as a Donor Research Specialist!
Donor Research - This generally be a fully remote role and able to be work outside of normal business hours. This volunteer helps research current and prospective donors. It is especially important that they are comfortable locating information online and can identify reliable sources of that information. This tends to be a more project-based role with larger projects lasting a month or so each (depending on volunteer availability) that the volunteer can manage on their own time. Specific tasks could include things like finding updated donor contact information, researching mission alignment between the Red Cross and other organizations, identifying connections between current partners and future prospects, and locating basic information about current and prospective donor-organizations (such as their annual revenue, footprint, and c-suite).
