Job Description

Warehouse administrators oversee customer accounts and the management of their inventory within the organization. This includes receiving, shipping and tracking stock, and handling communication between freight companies and warehouse customers. Warehouse administrators are responsible for the data entry and inventory of all stock. The position provides all administrative services support to the warehouse by implementing systems, procedures, and policies. Will act as a liaison with customers and resolving any emerging problems that our customers might face with accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, continuous improvement, data analytics or similar.
  • 2+ years of experience on sales, pricing, customer service with LTL Logistics transportation and 3PL services knowledge.
  • Strong analytical and data modeling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Skills/Responsibilities

  • Operates inventory control software, word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Enter data, including reporting, inventory adjustments and stock in/out.
  • Process receiving paperwork.
  • Maintain physical inventory of the materials.
  • Process orders and help to prepare items for shipment.
  • Process receiving reports, maintain database of customer specific inventory.
  • Maintain and update computerized inventory records.
  • Conduct physical cycle counts as needed.
  • Generates correspondence to secure additional customer information to resolve customer disputes.
  • Maintains detailed order records and updates as needed on customers account and order status.
  • Manage customer accounts
  • Answer incoming calls and provide information as needed.
  • Administrative and clerical procedures and terminology.
  • Knowledge of policy procedures, systems and procedure concerning purchasing, inventory, quality and administration.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, computer skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Work may require excessive bending or stooping.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
