Iron City Flooring is looking to add a versatile "Warehouse Associate" to our team of customer focused individuals who can work in our warehouse to support our mission and customer base. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for maintaining merchandise, pulling builder/customer orders from inventory, loading orders into vehicles, and other tasks and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Candidates MUST be able to lift and carry on a regular basis, push and pull on a regular basis and generally help in all facets of the warehouse.

Candidates MUST be insurable on our automobile policy as you will need to operate a company vehicle from time to time.

Qualified candidates are also able to stoop, stand, bend, sit, climb, kneel and squat for varied parts of their workday. They must have the ability to hear others in the environment for safety and work with their hands in both general and detailed ways.

Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm.

Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive, unpack, and deliver orders accurately
• Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed
• Inspect products for damages; report as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
• Receive and appropriately sort and store incoming products
• Drive company vehicle as directed
• Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures

Warehouse Associate Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma preferred
• Proven work experience in a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
• Ability to skillfully and safely operate a forklift
• Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems
• Solid communication skills and inventory skills
• Familiarity with all flooring types (tile, wood, vinyl, carpet, setting materials, etc.)
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move
• Bilingual

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
