$20 - $23 an hour
Immediate opening for a full-time WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE supporting a packaging tape and industrial supplies distributor in Chatsworth. Job duties include receiving, shipping, order pulling, packing, labeling, forklift operation, facilities maintenance, and general labor. We are looking for a reliable individual to join our team in our 33-year-old company.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in order pulling, packing, labeling and shipping
- Dependable and excellent attendance
- Self-motivated, team player
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience with forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
- Basic math and computer skills
- Knowledge of scheduling LTL shipments
- Experience with FedEx and UPS
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Detail oriented and organized
- Familiar with Excel spreadsheets and incoming/outgoing emails
Responsibilities
- Accurately and consistently pull, pack, label and ship orders across the country.
- Receive and unload container shipments and place incoming inventory items into warehouse racks.
- Organize and maintain inventory.
- Communicate with vendors, customers and freight carriers.
- Assist in keeping all work areas clean and safe.
- Other tasks as needed.
- Work hours 7:30am - 4:00pm Mondays - Fridays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
