Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator
The primary purpose of the warehouse worker/forklift operator is to maintain warehouse inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock. Assure inventory recording and locational controls are in place. Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.

Must be organized, detail oriented, able to document shipments and record units shipped accurately. Computer and handheld scanner experience a plus, will be trained in Ship All & Fourth Shift software.

Required to operate a forklift and at times, be able to lift up to 50 lbs., have a clean driving record, and have good attendance.

Responsibilities:

• Operate fork-lift in the warehouse
• Use RF scanners to log inventory in and out of the warehouse
• Pulling, packing and shipping of materials
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and read bill of lading and packing instructions
• Work as a team player with the various other positions of the warehouse

Employees are eligible for quarterly production bonuses of up to 10% of their pay and additional pay for catch-up or weekend call-in work.

Hours are: Monday thru Friday, 8am - 3pm with occasional overtime

Qualifications:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to operate forklifts (training will be provided), abide by safety protocols, work as a member of the warehouse team. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and stand on their feet for long periods in an unconditioned warehouse space. Must have valid driver’s license as this position may require employee to transport product between plants.
