Job Description:

The Warehouse/ Fulfillment Associate is the entry level position to eventually become a Warehouse/ Fulfillment Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a fast-growing startup! The role of the Warehouse/ Fulfillment Associate is to aid in the management and handling of all maintenance and aspects of shipping, stocking and receiving goods. This position is an extended point of contact for the sales force regarding any inventory and product fulfillment situations and solutions.

The Warehouse/ Fulfillment Associate is responsible for handling all procurement orders from Novastep SAS and generating inventory related reports as needed. The Warehouse/ Fulfillment Associate will process urgent and standard product replenishments and requests as they are received from the field, receive product returns into inventory, and serve as additional help for the Warehouse/ Fulfillment Specialist and Customer Service Specialist, as needed. This help will include, but not be limited to, answering customer service phone calls, customer relations, answering emails, entering data into IFS and Enhatch, and data research for Sales Agent inquiry resolution, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently demonstrate a positive, constructive, and cooperative attitude across the business environment.
  • Intermittently act as a point of contact for vendors and Sales Agent Partners.
  • Monitor inflow and outflow of products through the warehouse and stocking distributors.
  • Provide support beyond standard hours as needed if product requests and workload require additional time.
  • Communicate and resolve discrepancies with returned product to and from Sales Agents.
  • Recognize inventory levels to identify potential shortages or excesses of assets, and then communicate with teammates and the distribution chain for resolution.
  • Closely monitor inventory of newly introduced products with Operations
  • Assist Warehouse and Fulfillment staff on a daily basis.
  • Identify and report potential internal challenges.
  • Continue to share ideas to evolve current policies and procedures including inventory management.
  • Responsible for conducting regular cycle counting and field audits when needed.
  • Process restock requests and ship products daily to meet surgery needs per Sales Agent.
  • Travel when needed throughout the field to conduct on-site Sales Agent Field Audits.
  • Serve as direct support and back-up for the Warehouse Logistics Manager and Warehouse/ Fulfillment Specialist as well as Customer Service, on an emergent basis.
  • Manage fulfillment of key product lines per demand and assignment.

Physical Demands:

  • Potentially sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Moving around warehouse on feet for extended periods of time.
  • Repeating many of the same movements associated with stocking shelves, lifting boxes, and moving trays from one area of the warehouse to another.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs.

Travel:

  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:

Education:
Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Logistics related field.

Experience:
2-4 years Inventory Management and/ or Shipping/ Fulfillment experience.

Skills:

Sales and Communication:

  • Able to effectively and professionally communicate with vendors and staff atall levels.
  • Possess verbal and written communication skills to help communicate with staff for whom English is not their primary language.

Analytical and Problem-Solving business acumen:

  • Able to work under pressure in a fast paced-demanding environment.
  • Possesses a “can-do” attitude.
