Our Memphis branch is looking for a new Warehouse Inventory Supervisor to join our Contract Logistics team.
Your Role
Reporting to the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Supervisor maintains accurate records of inventory. The Inventory Supervisor handles all paperwork and procedures necessary to meet this goal. You will also verify all orders received and shipped, ensuring that the orders are accounted for in our records. The Inventory Supervisor accounts for all defective or damaged products and follows with appropriate corrective action. You will ensure cycle counts are planned and implemented following customer and Kuehne+Nagel requirements.Your Responsibilities
- You will maintain inventory records to help facilitate shortage detection.
- You will create efficient and accurate inventory management procedures
- Perform all daily activities necessary to maintain inventory management and ensure the accurate preparation of reports regarding Inventory operations.
- Work with management on implementing loss prevention programs and improving the management of inventory
- Build a recovery program to ensure all defective product is accounted for, handled, and reconcile inventories.
- You will coordinate annual physical inventory procedures
- You will oversee the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reports
- You will develop a program to audit returns and move returned products to its proper location
- Process proper documentation to produce a prompt credit transaction.
- Follow Kuehne + Nagel's Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment Program procedures.
Your Skills and Experiences
- High School Education or Equivalent
- Must have two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- three (3) years of experience within an Inventory management role.
- Experience of Red Prairie, and CEIL, or equivalent.
- Experience in an automated E-Commerce environment is desirable.
