Under general supervision, to supervise, train and coordinate employees in the warehouse, inventory control, and logistics-related operations (i.e., parts, supplies, equipment, MS, shipping, receiving and setup, etc.).
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Create a work plan and assign work; implement procedures, enforce company policies and Standard Operating Procedures, and recommend improvements related to inventory control, logistics, and warehouse functions.
  • Oversee and plan every activity related to inventory control in the organization or warehouse environment.
  • Plan and oversee outbound logistics, including on- and off-site warehouse inventory and the transportation of finished goods.
  • Plan and allocate resources for warehouse picking, shipping, receiving, and allocation processes to ensure daily shipments are picked and shipped promptly following the customer’s requirements and the product is received on time for all inventory.
  • Monitor and uphold inventory accuracy through the cycle count process, investigate variances, and quarterly and annual physical inventories.
  • Ensure employee compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Fulfill requests for reports related to inventory control.
  • Assist with end-of-month responsibilities, including but not limited to, tracking all orders for month-end billing, inter-database in bins cleared of inventory, proper use of marketing stream report, Return to Vendor review, etc.
  • Manage the accountability for lease returns on time, update E-Automate to reflect proper status and conditions, and tagging in the warehouse.
  • Validate that all inventory-related receipts and inventory activities are scanned into Doc Records.
  • Manage the Area OTI process and accountability to monthly revenue commitment.
  • Work with Sales Management on pivot opportunities for backorders and provide reporting for reserving or slow-moving inventory.
  • Work closely with the procurement team on overall company strategies and inventory issues.
  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring adequate inventory levels.
  • Review damage and defectives and reserve write-offs each quarter.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of:
  • Supply chain operations, logistics, operations, warehouse operations.
  • Microsoft Office suites (Excel and Word); relational databases and ERP and shipping systems.
  • FIFO and E-Automate experience preferred.
Ability to:
  • Prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Establish strong rapport with local, regional, and national teams, business partners, and vendors.
  • Solve practical problems and have analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Be a strong communicator, both orally and in writing.
  • Be a team-oriented problem solver who takes ownership of work performed.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Any combination equivalent to experience and education that could provide the required knowledge and abilities qualifies.
Education: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade.
Experience: 1-5 years of warehouse and logistics management experience.
