Waste Management Professional Job at Clover Leaf Solutions
Clover Leaf is looking for an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Professional to join our growing team. The position will involve work with a Department of Energy client in Albuquerque, NM. We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team and individually.
The individual shall provide support to the Environmental Programs in the areas of preparing applications, plans, reports, correspondence, and other documents related to hazardous and mixed waste management. Programs supported may include but are not limited to Hazardous Waste Permitting and Compliance (HWPC), and Environmental Compliance Coordinators (ECC). This role will involve interacting with multiple disciplines across the Corporation which may include: Emergency Management, IT administrative personnel, performance assurance, Facilities, quality assurance, industrial hygiene, radiation protection, safety engineering, and line partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing part or all of sampling plans and supporting documents
- Evaluating analytical results, developing conclusions and recommendations, and preparing reports and other documents
- Preparing part or all of hazardous waste Part B permit applications for renewal and modification
- Preparing reports of waste management activities
- Pulling data from multiple sources and compiling finding(s)
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant environmental, natural sciences, or engineering discipline plus at least 8 years' experience; or master's degree in relevant discipline plus at least 4 years' experience; or 16 years equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 5 years direct experience with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and application of federal and state implementing regulations for hazardous and mixed waste management, including permitting
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, with examples upon request
