About this Opportunity

Brunswick County is looking for a part-time/temporary Web Developer to join our IT Department to assist with some short-term project work. This position will be responsible for developing and testing web based forms using the most current programming languages. Essential duties include:

• coding and testing web-based applications
• demonstrating knowledge of web interface design
• creating documentation for web-based applications.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of web interface design
• Experience in web design and development

OR

• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Technical Skills include:

• JavaScript
• HTML5
• CSS
• JQuerry

Physical Requirements
Tasks involve the ability to exert very moderate physical effort in light work, typically involving some combination of stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling, and which involves some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 20 pounds) and occasionally heavier weight (up to 40 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.
