What is the Job?
Cut and join metals and other materials in the process of assembling the products of the company.- Weld fine metals including stainless steel and aluminum with the use of a variety of weldments and processes.
What do you bring to the Job?
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2 years' welding experience (MIG and Light Gauge TIG) and be proficient in reading and understanding build drawings.- Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
- Ability to accurately collect and test product samples and analyze against standards to determine if corrective action is required.
- Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders is required.
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Computer capability. Ability to enter and retrieve data in Excel and communicate via e-mail.
- Ability to work overtime on weekends
- Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
- Ability to pass a welding/drug/background/physical screen. Must be able to pass welding and blueprint test day of interview
