FEED MILL DISPATCHER
I.ESSENTIAL FUNCTION OF THE JOB
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to
1.Must have a North Carolina Weigh Master license
2.Must have some knowledge of farms in order to direct drivers to farms.
3.Must be able to follow all verbal and written instructions.
4.Must be as accurate as possible in order to get the correct weights because
these are the numbers relied upon to have proper grower payment.
5.Must be able to answer all questions ask by all state and federal inspectors.
6.Weigh Master must be able to recognize when there is a problem with the
weights of the trailers such as: wheels not on scales properly. This will come with
time and experience on the job.
7.Must have good communication skills on the telephone and in person.
8.Must be able to keep accurate records as to the drivers for all weigh tickets.
9.Must have a basic knowledge of math and calculators.
10.Must be able to order feed and schedule feed deliveries.
11.All other duties as needed by supervisor.
II. MUSCULAR/SKELETAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
Must have use of both hands and arms
Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed
Must have good hand and eye coordination
