ROLE OVERVIEW
Work Team Enablers are responsible for preparing and printing all production tickets and labels to meet production demands and requirements. The role also is responsible for printing, binding and maintaining departmental logs and forms along with timely closeout of production tickets and primary SAP transactions. Work is performed in strict compliance with manufacturing standards (SOPs) and following all regulatory requirements (i.e., GMPs & OSHA). These roles are present across multiple areas of Drug product operations. Some of the common elements of the work team enabler across units include: • Demonstrating growth mindset to share best practices, utilize downtime effectively • Working safely and compliantly following all applicable SOPs and standards including recording of GMP documentation • Demonstrate leadership behaviors within the unit, taking ownership and accountability of the production schedule, product quality, and leading by example. • Willing to assist other production units in order to meet unit / site goals. • Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks in support of the Kalamazoo Site objectives. • Completing and maintaining all required training on time, to maintain training at or above 96% • Consistently displays Own-It behaviors in accordance with Pfizer Core Competencies: Seizes accountability; grows self; change agile; self-awareness; commits to one Pfizer; peer relationships. • Provide feedback to leadership regarding issues and errors with GMP documentation. • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Overview: This is the entry level role in this career path. The colleague is expected to show progression towards all the items below and competency on a growing number of them as duration in the role progresses. EHS • Knowledge of unit and DP EHS procedures & policies • Supports unit safety self-inspections (helps addressing deficiencies) • Implements safety improvements (i.e. Good Catches, manages EHS WOs) • Works with unit safety team and/or Unit Leadership addressing safety issues GMP • Meets daily GMP requirements • Minimal errors (document entries or human performance deviations) • Understands and follows DP & Site SOPs • Example of good GMP practice (i.e. aseptic behavior, documentation, etc.) • Incident Reporting • QTS Access (Training) • Understanding of QTS • Participates in incident investigations and / or corrective action implementation Drug Product Operations • Print, prepare and manage all batch records and miscellaneous tickets according to production schedule • Print and manage LIMS and ID production labels • Review / reconciles production tickets when returned to the office for accuracy and verify SAP transactions are completed and perform SAP closeouts. • Print and file all logs, forms, paperwork and process tickets/records. • Performs inventory investigations and make appropriate adjustments for discrepancies. • Proficient in SAP, QTS, SAP, PDOCS, AMPS, MBR, LabelJet and ticket tracking • Identify and correct EDP errors (SAP or AMPS depending on unit requirements) • Initiate Arriba and P-card purchases as unit requires • Area audits (GMP/5’s/maintain audit readiness) • Assist with lot on-hold process • Identify / implement unit improvements (i.e. safety, process, cost reduction, efficiency, Zero Defect) • Assist area professionals as needed • Complete all necessary access training and required courses deemed necessary by leadership, maintaining over 96% completion rate in PLS
Qualifications
High school diploma / general education degree (GED) plus • 12 months as a Work Team Enabler I, OR • 36+ months of relevant GMP experience Additional Preferred Aseptic Experience: • 48+ months of relevant GMP experience in aseptic environment (e.g. filling, manufacturing, prep, or similar) preferred for roles within aseptic operations.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical Demands: • Extensive lifting / lowering up to 55 pounds, sitting, standing, walking, repetitive motion and flexibility in an office setting
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Positions are staffed across multiple shifts, depending in the business unit’s need. Weekend, holiday, and overtime may be required to meet business or customer needs
