Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Colorado Springs CO, is seeking a full-time X-Lab Networks Engineer

Candidate will be a primary Network Engineer supporting the C2BMC Program.

In this role the candidate will serve as a Network Engineer and Developer supporting network build out and deployments to the operational environment as necessary.

The candidate will work within an agile scrum team and plan work based on customer requirements and program contractual agreements.

Candidate should possess wide application of principles, theories, and concepts in their field and provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems with imaginative and thorough solutions; works under general direction, and results are reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives; failure to achieve results normally results in serious program delays and considerable expenditure of resources; frequent internal and external customer contacts and represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

The candidate must be a proven network engineer with hands-on mid-level experience and knowledge of network design, development and testing methodologies.

Active Security Clearance is required.
Basic Qualifications:

• Must possess a DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA).
• A solid understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF.
• Proven network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting experience.
• Firewall experience with Juniper firewalls is a must and McAfee Sidewinder or Fortinet Fortigate a plus.
• Experience in UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs.
• Hands on experience with multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment.
• A solid understanding of JUNOS preferred.
• Understanding of standard DOD security practices such as, STIG compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts.
• Familiar with RMF including hands on work with RMF topics, the assessment of compliance of information systems with DoD RMF standards (review, verify and validate required DoD IA RMF documentations and artifacts using DoDI 8510.01/DoD Risk Management Framework).

Desired Skills:

• Familiarization with virtualization is highly desired.
• Effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment with other highly motivated network engineers as well as independently on large field projects.
• Experience using the Agile Framework or experience applying Agile fundamentals in engineer-focused work.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
