Job Summary:

The Vascular X-Ray Technologist will work under the direction of the Divisional Administrator and the Technical Director.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reviews imaging requests.
• Judges diagnostic quality of finished medical images prior to submission to radiologist for interpretation.
• Performs clerical responsibilities associated with acquisition, processing and archiving of patient records.
• Observes patient while in the X-Ray area for change in status and makes appropriate intervention or contacts primary care givers for instruction.
• Operates and maintains equipment on a daily basis, maintaining logbooks with equipment performance data; schedules PM, performs QA, maintains records required for and participates in inspections. Schedules all quarterly and semi-annual Physics Evaluation requirements.
• Participates in application for/and maintenance of ACR accreditation of facility.

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiological Technology
• NYS License
• ARRT certified
• BLS certification
• 1-2 years of prior experience preferred

Hourly Rate Ranges: $36.26 - $43.96

Note: Our salary offers will fall within these ranges based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, skill set, training and education.
