Xactimate Estimator Needed Job at Journey Home Restoration
Our company is looking for an Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for our projects, analyzing project plans and specifications, and developing detailed cost estimates. The Estimator must have a strong understanding of construction methods and materials, as well as experience in the use of estimating software. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and is capable of meeting tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other documents to determine scope of work.
- Prepare estimates for labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Develop cost estimates from conceptual design to detailed design.
- Review and analyze subcontractor bids.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Provide cost estimates for change orders.
- Identify potential cost savings opportunities.
