Youth Minister/Associate Minister Job at Harrison Christian Church
Our church is currently in need of a Youth Minister/Associate Minister to lead and equip our teens. The ideal candidate for this position is experienced in youth ministry, passionate about the Christian faith and active in their local church. The Youth Minister will have opportunities to collaborate with other staff members to plan events, create curriculum and train volunteers. Responsibilities:
- Work with our Children's Minister to plan and coordinate religious programs for children.
- Plan and coordinate religious programs for young adults.
- Plan and coordinate religious programs for teenagers.
- Provide pastoral care to members of the congregation that include listening, counseling, and supporting the physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs of members.
- Assist with church bulletins and newsletters.
- Monitor the security of youth activities, such as youth group outings, field trips, camp experiences, etc.
- Assist our Senior Minister with his duties within the church.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
