Title: Accounting Clerk
Location: ONSITE - Culver City
Duration:5 Months (with possible extension)

Accounting Admin - Set Lighting & Grip Dept.
Job Responsibilities - in person daily role M-F:
RT PRO:

  • Data entry using RTPro Inventory and Billing Program
  • Consisting of entering non-coded equipment into the rental orders for check out and check in (up to 500,000 / year)
  • Attaching documents to the Rental and Sales orders such as Purchase Orders, Original equipment list, and Proof of Insurance.
  • Tracking and monitoring new, ongoing, and completed rental and sales contracts.
  • Monitor and track production returns and vendor rentals and update the remaining items list. (Equipment not returned or not shipped when designated)
  • Interact and work with IT when needed for system upgrades and implementing system enhancements.
  • Work closely with Coordinator and Director in initiating and identifying system upgrades that would increase efficiency and accuracy.

Reporting and Client Documentation Support:
Ensure proper documentation is created, maintained, and provided for all Sub-Rental return agreements, invoices, POs, and orders for equipment returns to our vendors.

  • Each sub-rental is tracked multiple times within the system – upon client rental, vendor agreement to sub-rent, delivery to the client, pick up from client, and return to vendor.
  • Contact and rectify any equipment return disputes with Sub-Rental vendors immediately, as directed by the director and coordinator.
  • Troubleshoot any order discrepancies or inconsistencies, follow up, and provide to production all information required by production rental/sales contracts, remaining items, and missing/damaged equipment reports.

Accounting Office Support:
Create and maintain, as directed, accurate files (e-and office folders) for all rentals.
