Metabo HPT (Koki Holdings America Ltd.), a portfolio company of one of world’s largest Private Equity Companies KKR, is engaged in distribution of professional grade power tools and accessories with operations in North America, with track record of strong growth, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with strong leadership and organization skills to oversee day to day responsibilities of the Finance and Accounting team.

Purpose of the Role

As the Accounting Manager, your responsibilities include managing day-to-day accounting activities, month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring books are compliant with IFRS and company policy, leading the Accounts Payable team, oversee inventory accounting and providing financial leadership and support to key multifunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

· Lead and manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process to established deadlines and Corporate expectations.

· Direct and review the work performed by the accounting team, accounts payable, inventory control and cash management as well as other departments for compliance with GAAP, IFRS, Company Policy and Internal Control guidelines.

· Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, financial reports, and ad-hoc analysis.

· Lead Monthly Inventory Accounting.

· Serve as liaison for all internal/external audit requests.

· Work closely with CFO and Finance Director to provide timely insights to company financials as needed.

· Deliver accurate monthly financial reporting on a timely basis.

· Lead process improvements by identifying and developing more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

· Supervise, hire, train, provide feedback, coach and develop team members; foster personnel development to ensure cross-training, and organizational capability building.

· Closely work with IT team and other relevant cross-functional teams to drive meaningful and sustainable process and systems improvements.

· Assume additional responsibilities and lead special projects as required by company leadership.

Qualifications/Skills

· CPA certification preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Required.

· 5-7 years of Financial Accounting or Public Accounting

· 3-5 years of Supervisory experience.

· Strong Interpersonal, Organizational and Communication skills with ability to work in a team and fast paced environment.

· Understanding and working knowledge of IFRS.

· Prior experience with ERP Systems.

· Strong MS Excel skills and experience with other key MS Office tools.

· Ability to and willingness to learn.

· Strong Analytical Skills.
