Northern Gold Foods is a co-manufacturer of breakfast and snack products for some of the most successful brands in the world. We're looking for an Accounting Manager to join the team at our facility just north of the airport in Eugene, Oregon.

Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will work and support in the areas of inventory, AR, AP, fixed assets and banking as well as other general accounting functions in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitors, tracks, and posts inventory movements through the manufacturing process from raw materials to finished goods.
• Supports and leads regular cycle counting and physical inventory to ensure accurate recording of inventory on-hand in the ERP system. Works with Inventory Specialist to verify physical counts are accurate.
• Maintains fixed asset register; determines proper coding and lives of assets placed in-service to adhere to the corporate fixed asset policies.
• Supports order entry, invoicing and AR collections.
• Supports all aspects of the accounts payable process.
• Prepares bank reconciliation.
• G/L maintenance and account reconciliations.
• Assists controller and be an integral part of the month-end and year-end close process.
• Manages/supervises the accounting staff responsible for financial reporting, billing, collection and inventory control.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance. CPA is a plus.
• 5+ years relevant experience, preference will be given to manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
• A team player who is willing to "roll up their sleeves" and lend support where needed.
