Lifetime Activities is looking for part-time lead coaches for its Santa Clara location.

Share your love of sport and help coach the next generation of players!
The ideal candidate loves sport, has an engaging personality, and enjoys helping and interacting with participants of all ages. A positive and team-focused attitude is essential. Previous instructional leadership experience in group environments is required.
Skills, Qualities and Experience:
- A fun, friendly, and welcoming attitude that students respond to is a must
- The ability to communicate effectively (visually/verbally/kinesthetically) to children and adults
- Passion for the activity being coached
- Strong playing ability
- Previous experience leading group instruction
- Instructional certifications are preferred, but not required for the right applicant
- Patience when dealing with students that are new to the activity
- Ability to develop fun/creative and educational lesson plans while adhering to safety guidelines
- A strong work ethic that includes positivity, punctuality, and professionalism at all times
- Ability to manage the entire group/space while delegating tasks to assistant staff
- Reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must pass DOJ/FBI background check
- Must be USTA Safe Play-certified (within 2 weeks of hire)
- Willingness to follow all current COVID-19 protocols is required
Schedule and Pay:
- Availability to coach Summer weekday camps/classes is a must
- Additional weekend availability is a plus
- Pay $26-$37/hr depending on skill and experience
