Compensation
- Starting wage $21.00-$22.00/hr. depending on experience

Work Schedule
- Full Time (40 hours per week)
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Director of Admissions
- Responsible for coordinating and directing the admissions from local hospitals, physician's offices, and the community.
- Completes inquiry process to ensure understanding of patient needs/requirements.
- Provides tours of the facility which are scheduled and unscheduled.
- Works closely with Columbine Health Systems Hospital Liaisons for the smooth transition of patients from local hospitals
- Maintains current bed availability status at all times.
- Communicates needs of new admissions to all departments to ensure a smooth transition.
- Builds and maintains relationships with local doctor offices, hospitals, assisted and independent living facilities, home care agencies, and other nursing homes.
- Maintains a working knowledge of Insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, Federal and State regulations and reimbursement.
- Represents facility at community events.
- Manages and supervises admissions staff.
- And other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of a BS or BA degree in related field
- At least one-year previous healthcare experience working in a nursing home, hospital, or other health care facility preferred.
