Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or Public Health Education, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Essential Job Functions
The Vaccine Uptake Program Coordinator Positions will work under the IPC Clinic Director (Principal Investigator) and will be part of the IHHS Aging Well Program. The position will provide all grant reporting and data outcomes tracking. The program coordinator will also implement assigned planned grant activities to meet objectives including disseminating appropriate educational information, planning vaccine events, and providing support and assistance to adults aged 60 and up to receive flu and covid vaccines across the grant region.
1. Monitor all grant activities, track and report all data to meet grant reporting requirements.
2. Plan, coordinate, and disseminate accurate flu and COVID vaccine education information across the grant region using various media sources.
3. Provide assistance to adults age 60 and up to facilitate receiving flu and COVID vaccines across the region.
4. Assist with planning at least one vaccine dissemination event per county.
5. Supervise Graduate Assistants and undergraduate student workers who will be supporting the project.
6. Communicates with team members and other individuals that participate or are involved with grant activities; i.e. BCHS Contracts & Grants Manager.

Coaching/Mentoring: Ability to design and establish innovative approaches to educating the public on emerging public health issues. Ability to precept and mentor staff.
Client/Customer Service: Ability to develop a professional relationship with the community or target audience while assisting them in understanding public health issues and possible approaches for dealing with those issues. Ability to work with staff to update/revise processes to improve educational outcomes. Ability to coordinate and collaborate with staff, Public Health specialists and the community.
Consultation/Advising: Ability to work with a wide variety of public health specialists and members of the community.
