Centurion Protective Services is hiring for Armed Security Officers at a specialty retail location on the southside of Jacksonville. The shift will correspond with the business operating hours which are Mon.-Sat., 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.

The purpose of this position is to patrol assigned facility by foot, enforce client policy and regulations, and investigate facility related incidents. Ensure that the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional working environment while providing a brand-positive image.

Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age
• Have valid D & G Licenses, (Florida Security Licenses)
• Customer service oriented
• Professionalism in appearance, work ethic, and positive attitude are essential
• Must be able and willing to work with minimal supervision
• Have a valid Driver License
• Have reliable transportation
• No disqualifying criminal or driving history
• Have reliable means of communication (working email and cell phone required)
• Be able to communicate effectively (orally and in writing)
• Basic computer skills
• Be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Be able to traverse indoors and outside over uneven ground and pavement
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Assignments may require repetitive movements, reaching, bending, and squatting

Preferred:

• Prior retail security/loss prevention experience
• High-end retail experience
• Customer service experience
• First Aid/CPR qualified
