Title: Assistant Director of Staff Development
Job Duties: The Assistant Director of Staff Development works collaboratively with the DSD to develop training programs for employees to help them improve their skills. You will assist in coaching employees who are experiencing difficulties, as well as motivating employees and encouraging them to meet their goals and providing positive feedback on their progress. The DSD department also conducts internal audits to ensure that the company's policies and procedures are being followed.
Qualifications:
1. Must be an licensed LVN/RN with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a nurse.
2. Be qualified by education, training, experience, or certification: have completed the Director of Staff development course or be willing to become certified in staff development
3. Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with staff, physicians, clients, auditing entities from the state or county, visitors and management.
4. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations regarding resident/client care and infections control. Ability to write reports and other forms of correspondence.
About the Campus: Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) / Special Treatment Programs (STPs) provide behavioral intervention to consumers with mental disorders in secure residential settings. Services include behavior modification, skilled nursing, prevocational and life skills training, recreation and rehabilitation.
