KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Information Architecture to join our Enterprise Data Services organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the KPMG Enterprise Data Strategy by executing the Information Architecture processes focusing on value driven outcomes with the highest benefit for the firm
  • Partner with Technical and Enterprise architects, Data Analysts and Engineers to architect and deliver the solutions that fulfill the business information needs and align with the information vision and strategy
  • Be part of the team of owners and stewards of key Information Architecture assets, such as Enterprise Data Taxonomy, Data Catalog content, Enterprise Lineage and Enterprise Metrics and KPIs
  • Contribute to planning and execution of establishing a roadmap and vision for Information Solutions, covering Data Supply assets such as Azure Data Lake, MDM, and Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Develop the vision around design and management of data as it pertains to the business strategy and establish processes for governing the identification, collection and use of corporate metadata; take steps to assure metadata accuracy and validity
  • Become a trusted SME in a Business Data Domain; promote use and reuse strategies; derive current and future business value for data

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years of recent and relevant experience supporting data strategy and enabling continuous innovation and improvement of data products and/or services
  • Minimum three years of recent direct Information Architecture, Data Architecture, Data Management or Data Analysis experience; ability to illustrate deep business of data knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Deep working knowledge of SQL or Python is required; prior experience working with on prem and cloud data platforms is required; experience with these tools a big plus: Collibra, Lean IX, Erwin
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
  • Capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization; creative thinker with ability to identify innovative business solutions
