Overview: This position will oversee the discipleship, leadership development and mobilization of adults and students toward leading in all areas of the church.

About Us: Redeemer’s Church is a casual, multi-ethnic, multi-generational church of 550 weekly attendees with a passion to serve and reach low-income & culturally diverse communities. Redeemer’s church is in Reedley, CA, only 25 minutes from Fresno.

JOB DESCRIPTION / MINISTRY SCOPE:

• Develop and lead other volunteer leaders to ensure adults are growing together toward Christlikeness, biblical dependency, and gospel-centrality and service through Groups (Microgroups, Life Groups, Courses, Men, Women, etc.). Create a multiplying, disciple-making expectation within the church body.
• Solicit and develop leaders for youth ministries & mentorship.
• Assist Children’s director in the development of training leaders for children’s ministry.
• Solicit and develop small group leaders to multiply groups.
• Work with the Lead Pastor in leading discipleship classes, internships and residency programs.
• Meet with key staff to ensure discipleship pathways are successful in each department.
• Support the development of the Spanish Leadership Team.
• Create a ministry incubator; helping people find their calling and establish ministries and outreaches in the church and community as needed.
• Be able to preach and teach in varying capacities when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of ministry related work experience with primary leader responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work with adults and develop volunteers.
• High degree of integrity in personal and professional life
• Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and relationship.
• Demonstrated ministry leadership experience, experience in a church or para-church organization preferred
• High degree of bible literacy, seminary degree is a plus
• Experience and knowledge in leading teams; multi-campus ministry experience is a plus
• Exposure to and experience working within diverse cultures is a plus
• Agree to and adhere to the church's statement of faith and leadership commitment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
