Position: AV Specialist
Duration: 6+ months Contract
Location: Remote (must - local to East Bay Area) - 40-50% travel required to East Bay

Job Description:
Provide support for video conferencing systems in a mixed Cisco and Microsoft Teams environment.
Recommend, and design audio & video conferencing solutions for a variety of purposes and rooms such as: Huddle rooms, small and large conference rooms, command centers, and executive spaces
Supervise and verify the work of installation engineers from various AV/VC manufacturers and integrators
Optimize room solutions for both intuitive use and optimal sound quality
Work with vendors and fellow IT team members implementing various projects for AV/VC upgrades, replacements, and new installations.

Required Skillset:
Cisco and Microsoft video conferencing
Experience installing and configuring Cisco Telepresence and Room Kits,Crestron Flex, Microsoft Owl endpoints
Experience with various sound and lighting control systems
Deep understanding of various microphone systems from table mounted to ceiling arrays and their optimal use cases
Must have strong AV technical acumen deploying video conferencing endpoint systems for large enterprises with hundreds of conference rooms, especially MS Meeting Rooms.
Vendor agnostic experience.
Comfortable dealing with multiple OEMs. Today their video conferencing systems are Cisco & Crestron Flex, but they may onboard other AV systems in the future.
Comfortable dealing with the network team (VLANs, IPs, etc.) and security team (FW rules, ports, etc.)
Must be adept at interfacing with an AV integrator and the OEM, in addition to reviewing OEM BOMs and making suggestions for appropriate SKUs based on PG&E standards, etc.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
